What Surprised Me About My First Energy Healing Session
I have been dancing around the idea of going to a real, all-in energy healing session for a while now. I’ve had some casual Reiki and definitely spend time in contemplation and movement for the purpose of discovery. I finally met a practitioner I trusted, and this week had my first Beyond Quantum Healing session.
In the session, I was guided through a world of my own creation and met with various guides and ancestors to explore the answers to my questions. The details of it are for me to sift through and interpret and mull over for a while.
One thing did happen that was completely surprising — I saw my elementary school Gym teacher, Ms. K. I recall saying, from my meditative, trance-like space, “Holy shit. Ms. K is here.”
Ms. K taught Gym at a Catholic elementary school, right as we started calling it “P.E.” I’ve written about her before, a couple of times. Even so, I had no idea why she would appear in this session, where the journey was deeply personal and the questions were related to my family lineage. Here is a summary of what happened:
